# Manual Entries

## How to Add Manual Entries (In-App)

1. Open **Giveaway Gator** and select the promotion.
2. Click **Manage** to open the promotion details.
3. Navigate to the **Entries** section.
4. Click the **Add Manual Entry** button.
5. Fill in:
   - **Email** (required): Customer's email address.
   - **Name** (required): Customer's name.
   - **Reason** (optional): Why you're adding the entry (e.g., "Bonus for special promotion"). Defaults to "Manual entry" if left blank.
   - **Number of Entries** (optional): How many entries to add. Defaults to 1.
6. Click **Add Entry**.

Manual entries appear in the Entries list with a dash ("-") in the Order Number column, since they aren't tied to a Shopify order.

## Filtering Manual Entries

You can filter the entries list to show only manual entries using the **Type** filter and selecting **Manual Entry**. This is useful for reviewing all manually added entries at a glance.
